I have been doing construction since I was around 10 years old. I'm now 46, so that's 36 years of experience. I started cleaning job sites for both my brothers that have their own construction companies and moved on to do every phase of construction by the time I was a teen.
I thought I never wanted to do this for a living as I thought manual labor was too hard, so I went to college and got a couple of degrees in marketing and communication. However the office life was not my calling as I missed building, sunshine, and creating livable works of art.
I chose to go back to my roots and in 2022 started my own construction company and have since also added my electrical license. As a recovered addict clean for 8 years I let God guide my endeavors and with his guidance I chose the name Fortified Construction as a reminder of how God fortified my temple.
